Dec14 - Lights of Love Dedication Service

The Warwick Lights of Love Dedication Service which was held in Warwick Market Square on Sunday 13th December was blessed with the rain holding off and the Square looking very pretty with it’s new canopy of lights.
Mayor Mandy Littlejohn and her chaplain, Rev Roger Garratt, led a short carol service, supported by a 30 strong Community band, whilst the  young voices of Newburgh School choir joined in to entertain about 100 people in the audience.
Warwick Rotary Club President, Jon Wassall, thanked everyone for turning out on what had not been the most promising of days weather-wise.
To date about £1,900 has been raised for the mayors charities and Myton Hospice, and organiser Jackie Crampton expressed thanks to Martin
Carty & Dick Dixon for their help on the day in moving chairs and providing lighting, and she particularly praised all the staff in the Tourist Information Centre for their great support during the Lights of Love event.
