Rotary Club Of Warwick

Mar5 - Pancake Racing in Warwick

Cllr Bob Dhillon, Mayor of Warwick accompanied by Sarah Wrist, Community co-ordinator from Tesco, presented the prizes to year 2 Infants winners – Newburgh School, and to year 6 Juniors from  Coten End School.

Local businesses really joined in the spirit too, with Tesco providing the prizes and cream eggs for all the children; and the atmosphere in the square was really buzzing with the Lazy Cow restaurant supplying hot pancakes and Thomas Lloyd in the square serving coffee to keep the crowds warm.

Rotary President Michael Swaby said “this is a lovely way to keep a tradition alive and for the children to learn about the meaning of Easter. This is one of the events we arrange for the local community and we are delighted that local businesses have joined in this year”
