SUMMARY:Aid to Ukraine
DESCRIPTION:On Wed Nov 30th we have invited Dawid Kozlowski from the Polish Centre in Leamington to talk to us about their relief work for Ukraine. \nAll year they have been gathering aid and taking it regularly down to Ukraine to help the people there survive the war.\nThis has been a mix of medical and humanitarian aid\, and to date they have delivered 5 ambulances.\nDawid will have just received the 6th Ambulance which he will bring to the hotel – it should be an interesting evening.\n\nThe ambulance is going to take Christmas presents for poor and orphaned children in Ukraine and he invites us to join his initiative to become a Santa.\nThere is a portal (website) www.belveder.co.uk  where you can go on-line and make a present for the children\, you will get pictures when the children receive your present in Ukraine and also Christmas cards back from sponsored children.\nI will also put out a collecting bucket for any donations you might like to make directly for Dawid after the presentation.\n\nThe format is 6.30 for 7 sit down for a meal @£13pp one course and coffee\, speaker at 7.30 pm.\nPlease let me know if you would like to attend by Monday 28th\, all welcome to join us\,\n
