DESCRIPTION:Sathvika Krishnan – Environmentalist\, is today’s speaker. \nSathvika is a year 13 student at Bablake Senior School\, Coventry where she is also the School Captain.   She received a full set of ten A*s/9s at GCSEs and was awarded her Gold Crest Award for her project on the behaviour of wood pigeons at the age of 14.\nCombining her passion for zoology and music\, Sathvika has written an Extended Project qualification on the musicality of birdsong and is intending to publish it. \nHer love for wildlife and the environment has led her to spread awareness of global issues like the effect of plastic pollution on the environment. \nAside from her academic accolades\, Sathvika is an avid musician.   She is a South lndian classical vocalist and a diploma-level pianist.   She was also the leader for the National Youth choir for lndian music and has won the SABRANG Musician of the Year Award \n  \nStewards – Carl Wimperis\, Hugh Smith\, Margaret Morley \n
