SUMMARY:Club Weekly Zoom Meeting
DESCRIPTION:This week’s Club Meeting will be addressed by Mr Matthew Watson\, Head of Westgate School\, Warwick. \nWestgate School was recently in the news alongside Warwick Rotary when a Peace Pole was erected at the school in their Peace Garden.  Promoting Peace Education is very much part of the school curriculum\, and teachers have all commented that young people today need opportunities to think about dealing with Conflict.  The Year 6 Children have spent many hours in clearing an overgrown area within their school and with support from Hill Close Gardens are going to create an area where the children will be able to just enjoy the joys of nature and relax in an atmosphere of quiet reflection.  Peace Poles convey a message of encouraging all to work together to create a caring society at home and abroad. \nMatthew will talk of the success of the project and the impact it is having on the school and the pupils. \n  \nAll are welcome to join the meeting which starts at 1 pm. \nMeeting ID: 895 8144 0147 \nPasscode: 320847 \n  \n
