SUMMARY:Schools Concert
DESCRIPTION:This years Schools Concert will be held at St.Mary’s Church Warwick at 6pm on Tuesday 25th June. \nAlready 9 schools have applied to take part in this very popular event which attracts a large audience.   Each school participating plays individually at different age levels and at the end of the evening all the schools combine to join in a grand finale.   Over 260 local children will be taking part. \nTickets are on sale and will cost £5 for adults – schoolchildren will be free of charge.   It is not intended to be a fund-raising event but is designed to encourage young people to make music in a joyful atmosphere.   Any profits that are made are ploughed back into the school’s music budgets for the purchase of more instruments. \nPlease enter the date in your diary and come to join us for an evening of great enjoyment. \nTickets from Claridges\, Swan Street\, or Warwick Post Office. \n
