SUMMARY:Warwick Lights of Love
DESCRIPTION:This week Warwick’s Christmas tree\, donated by Barn Close Nurseries\, is being put up in Warwick Market Square and the lights will be turned on next Thursday 28th November as part of the Victorian evening. \nThe Rotary Club is once again running their “Lights of Love” campaign raising money for Myton Hospices and the Mayors Charities. \nBy completing a form and returning it with a donation it is possible to remember a loved one at this particular time of the year when families and friends get together and those not still with us are particularly in our thoughts.   Cards will be placed on the tree for each person remembered and a list of these people will be published and regularly updated on our website between now and Christmas. \nLast year we were able to raise just short of £2\,000 which was split between the 2 charities.   We already have over 100 cards written\, ready  to go on the tree. \nA leaflet and form which can be used to put a card on the tree are attached. \nWe are holding a short Dedication Service of carols in Warwick Square on Sunday Dec 8th at 4pm to which everyone is invited.\nWarwick Community Band and Emscote Voices will be supporting the Mayor and President of Rotary at this service. \nTree of Lights flyer FRONT 2019 \nTree of Lights flyer REVERSE 2019 \n
