SUMMARY:Warwick Schools Concert
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Mid-Summer Schools Concert is to take place at St. Mary’s Church\, Warwick on 21st June 2016. \nOrganised by the Rotary Club of Warwick\, in partnership with the County School Music Service\, it will present a wide variety of music performed by many local schools\, including Aylesford\, Budbrooke\, Coten End\, Emscote\, Newburgh\, Ridgeway\, Woodloes and Warwick. \nThis celebration of musical talent has always been found to be of a very high standard in the past producing all types of composition ranging from the music of Handel through to the latest hits.   A feature of the event is that all profits from the evening are ploughed back into providing more musical instruments to the schools who participate\, and it is certainly an occasion not to be missed. \nMembers of the public\, as well as parents and families of those taking part\, are very welcome.   The doors open at 5.45pm and there will be an organ recital whilst waiting for the concert to begin. \nTickets are £5 for adults (£1 for children under 16) and can be purchased in advance from all participating schools. \nPictured are photos taken at previous concerts. \n  \n  \n
