SUMMARY:Youth Speaks competition
DESCRIPTION:The first round of this year’s Youth Speaks competition will take place on Thursday\, 7th February at Northgate Methodist Church in Barrack Street\, Warwick. \nThis is part of a National event organised by Rotary to encourage young people to develop confidence and display their debating skills to a wider audience.   All schools in the Warwick area have been invited to participate and there are two age groups taking part\, one at Intermediate level and one at Senior level.   If previous years are anything to go by there will be a wide and varied list of topics debated.   It starts at 6.15 pm and the public and parents are all invited – free of charge – to this excellent competition. \nThe winners in each category will go forward to the area heats\, with the ultimate aim of reaching the National Finals later in the year. \n
