On Wed Nov 30th we have invited Dawid Kozlowski from the Polish Centre in Leamington to talk to us about their relief work for Ukraine. All year they have been gathering aid and taking it regularly down to Ukraine to help the people there survive the war. This has been a mix of medical and humanitarian aid, and to date they have delivered 5 ambulances. Dawid will have just received the 6th Ambulance which he will bring to the hotel…

What did you do in the War – Dad?
Alistair Price talks about his father Squadron Leader Kenneth Price DFC , who was born in Coventry and joined the Bomber Command in 1938 completing 58 trips before being shot down in July 1943. He was betrayed to the Gestapo, and spent 2 years in Stalag Luft 111, although he survived the war, he died quite young in 1980 , due to a great extent the privations of beinq a POW.
