The evening meeting, which is an open event and guests are very welcome, will consist of a two-course meal, after which Adrian Maxwell will give an illustrated talk entitled:   My father's experience as a tail gunner in Lancaster Bombers in WWII. This Evening Meeting, to which visitors are cordially invited, will be addressed by Mike Bunn, who will talk about the Coventry Blitz. For some of us this will bring back poignant memories, while for many who are too young to recall this horrific night, Mike's talk will shed light on many personal stories, including the destruction of Coventry Cathedral. Our International Evening Meeting this year will focus on Kenya, and includes a full and varied programme. Richard Hall, of One World Link, will be speaking on work carried out in  Bo, Sierra Leone, through the club's involvement there and the tie-up with the local community here in Warwickshire.  "Sierra Leone - A Rotarian's story" Alan Wolstencroft from Banbury RC Alan first visited Sierra Leone in November 2005 as a volunteer member of Rotary Mission Challenge, working on a Mercy Ships project. Rotarians were invited to volunteer with them & “spend 11 days in Sierra Leone and make a real difference”.
