This week Warwick's Christmas tree, donated by Barn Close Nurseries, is being put up in Warwick Market Square and the lights will be turned on next Thursday 28th November as part of the Victorian evening. The Rotary Club is once again running their "Lights of Love" campaign raising money for Myton Hospices and the Mayors Charities. One of the high spots of the year is the club's Civic Lunch, to which the Chairman of Warwick District Council and the Mayor of Warwick, together with the Town Clerk of Warwick, are invited. Each leader will give a short outline of their year in office to date and of their plans for the rest of their civic year, and then they will answer questions put to them by members.

Warwick Victorian Evening. A fun evening, with many people dressed to suit the occasion During the evening the Warwick Christmas Lights will be switched on, and in particular the Christmas Tree in the square will be illuminated for the start of the Lights of Love campaign, which gives people the opportunity to remember loved ones over the Christmas period. The Rotary Club will also have their usual stall, dispensing hot punch to keep out the cold weather.
