Warwick Town Bonfire is moving to a new home. The event, organised by Warwick Lions and Warwick Rotary is to be held on Saturday 4th November and will now take place within the confines of Warwick Racecourse with improved facilities and many new features including: A firework display which is split into two sections. Warwick Town Bonfire Organisers are finalising arrangements for Warwick Town Bonfire’s move to the racecourse this year on Saturday 4th November and are working closely with Warwick Racecourse to make sure this year’s show is better than ever. Gates open at 5pm and car parking is free. Lynne Barton from the Entrust Care Partnership will speak to the club after lunch. Lynne Barton is by profession a qualified teacher and has worked extensively in the public sector in Education, Health and more latterly an integrated multi‐agency service. She has worked in the Voluntary Sector, with the playgroup movement whilst her three children were small, and in later years in a Director capacity with a National Charity supporting disabled children, young people and their families. Stephen Cross, Mayor of Warwick, together with a senior officer from their respective councils, join members of the club for the annual Civic Lunch. Each year Warwick Rotary presents a Meritorious Award to a local person who has worked very hard within the local community for a long time, and today is the occasion when the award for 2017-18 will be made.
