This date is recorded as Founders Day, when we specifically remember former members who died whilst they were in membership of the club, and whose names are recorded in the records as such. After the meal there will be a talk by current member, Graham Sutherland.

Civic Lunch On this occasion the club is honoured by the presence of civic leaders who attend to meet our members and to talk about their year in office. The Chairman of Warwick District Council, Counc. Jane Knight, and the Mayor of Warwick, Counc. Christine Cross will be accompanied by the Warwick Town Clerk, Jayne Topham.

This will be an evening meeting open to guests. The main speaker will be Craig Warmington who is a project manager - as well as being an amateur pilot - and he will be talking about his work and the complications he meets, and in particular his work with the 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts in their bid for new premises. This promises to be an interesting evening and further details will be published in the next few days.

Warwick Mayor Cllr Christine Cross invites residents of Warwick to join her this Sunday, December 11th, in Warwick Market Square where a service of dedication will be held for the Lights of Love on the town Christmas tree. A short carol service will be held at 4pm in the square, accompanied by Warwick Community Band and children from Newburgh School. The service will be led by the Vicar of St Mary’s, Rev Vaughan Roberts and the Mayor will be accompanied…

Preparing for Christmas. The annual Christmas lunch will be held at our regular meeting place and invitations will be sent to all members and their families, past and Honorary members, friends and guests, and of course all past members of Warwick Inner Wheel. This light-hearted occasion will have musical entertainment provided by the President's wife and some of her friends. Club Meeting
This is the meeting at which the President will present the annual Meritorious Award to a local citizen who has given outstanding service to the town. Jackie Crampton, chairman of the Community Service committee will announce and introduce .this year's recipient

At this lunch time meeting the speaker will be Bob Jordan who will talk about the Warwickshire Private Hospital charitable trust. Formerly the CEO of the Foseco group, he was for 10 years Chairman of Walsgrave Hospital and is now a trustee of Warwickshire Private Hospital. Living in Barford he takes an active part in local affairs and has been involved in the new playground and in the shop and Post Office which are locally run.
