Youth Speaks
The first round of the Annual Rotary Youth Speaks event will be held in St. Nicholas Church, Warwick on 11th February 2016 This very popular competition attracts pupils from most of the schools in the area and an extremely high standard of public speaking is witnessed. Visitors are most welcome to both the intermediate and senior events, from which the winners go forward to the area finals later in the year, with the ultimate prize being national champions. Locally based charity ‘The Otra Cosa Network’ will provide the speakers, Mrs Juany Murphy and Mr Peter Murphy, for this International Evening, which will focus on their work in Peru, based in a coastal town called Huanchaco in North Peru. This is an open meeting for members and guests and all are welcome. The evening will be hosted by John Hibben, the chairman of the International Committee.
