There was a great welcome for the new District Governor, Bala Jaspal, when she visited the club recently.

Bala is the second lady to be a District Governor in District 1060, and the first British Asian Lady DG in the UK.

Well-known in the Warwick area for her business connections, she talked about the Rotary theme for this year which is ‘Rotary Connects the World’ and how we are ‘People of Action’.

The Warwick Club has demonstrated it’s extensive work in the community and she supported and encouraged us in our aim to make more connections and hopefully draw more new members and partners into our club.

Bala’s charity for the year is ‘Heads Together’, which is championing Mental Health.

Club President David Brain, on behalf of the club, wished her a very successful year in office.
