Jun8 - Bo, Sierra Leone thanks club

The Rotary Club of Warwick welcomed John Sandi from the Sewa Road school in Bo, Sierra Leone last week, accompanied by Richard Hall from One World Link.

John wanted to thank the Rotarians who last year sent £6,500 to improve the toilets at his school. Sewa Road school had 900 children and 35 staff sharing just 3 cubicles. Warwick Rotary Club funded the construction of 2 blocks of 4 toilets, and refurbishment of the existing 3. This has made a massive improvement and enabled full participation of the girls. John brought letters of thanks from pupils and the school Board.

New Rotarian Bill Jaspal had also arranged to send over 7 surplus computers from his training business which were installed in the One World office in Bo last September.
