A short carol service was held in Warwick Market Square on Sunday 13th December to dedicate all the cards on the town Christmas tree that had been donated in memory of loved ones. This was addressed by the Mayor of Warwick, Councillor Christine Cross and by the President of Warwick Rotary Club, John Taylor.
Music was provided by Warwick Community Band and the singing was led by the choir of Newburgh School, who were proudly wearing their new high visibility tabards which have been donated to them by the Rotary club.
Cards will remain on the tree until the New Year, and will raise funds for the Mayors’ charities and Myton Hospice. There is still time to add a card and forms can be obtained here
