Last night Rotarians had an evening at Folklore House, Polish Restaurant in Leamington.

We were joined by Dawid Kozlowski from Belveder charity based at the Polish centre next door, which since the war started 4 years ago has been sending trucks of aid to Ukraine, and fundraised for 60 ambulances which have been driven over by brave volunteers including Matt Western MP, local Sikhs and Kenilworth Lions.
Club has previously given them our Meritorious Award, sent a generator and medical aid, and given the children hope with Easter eggs, Xmas presents and supported a summer camp.
Dawid updated club members with a video of soldiers being rescued form the front line and pictures of some of the 10 ambulances destroyed to date. Club made a donation of £2,000 towards a 4×4 vehicle which can get nearer to the wounded in the trenches.
