Oct29 - Warwick Bonfire – Nov 4th Update

Event still going ahead as planned – however we are unable to build a bonfire due to the common being too damp, and parking on the hill is also unavailable. Fireworks show still OK and the racecourse concourse is tarmac with grandstands for 3,000 providing shelter should we need it. Come early and leave your car up in Warwick car parks, there will be hot food and drinks, entertainment with Sambassadors of Groove and the bars are open!

Tickets still available at www.jockeyclub.co.uk/warwick or www.warwicktownbonfire.org.uk

Gates open at 5pm and a range of hot foods and refreshments will be available across the site with all bars open. You can reserve a table for a hot supper in the Kingmaker restaurant with a great view of the bonfire and firework show. Music will be provided by the popular Sambassadors of Groove and there’s a range of light swords and wands to buy for an exciting evening.

The racecourse grandstands offer a great view of the Firework show across the track on the common. Award winning Fantastic Fireworks will start off with a 10 minute show at 6pm to keep the little ones entertained, and then the main show starts at 6.45 with 20 minutes of top class fireworks.

Prices have been kept the same as last year to make sure families can afford to come. £8 for adults and £2 for children between 3-15, infants under 3yrs old free.

Gates open at 5pm. Entry is at the main entrance off Bread & Meat Close, access also off Hampton Road

Bovis Homes, Geberit, Startins (Kia) Cars, Wenman Healthcare, Warwickshire Gin, Godfrey Payton and Uniparts Logistics are supporting the event and organisers are hoping for a good turnout. Last year’s event raised over £26,000 for local charities and good causes.
